Downloading photos and videos from icloud to pc

I clkd the Download button and then a Security Warning came up asking me if I wanted to run or save. I clkd Run. Then a screen came up stating that iCloud Control Panel requires the computer to be running Vista or newer. Then the previous screen reappears again saying 'iCloud Control Panel 2.

I clked the download button and a screen comes up saying 'File download security warning. Using this tool, you can easily transfer all photos in iCloud to PC selectively. Not only photos, you can also transfer many other data like videos, contacts, text messages, WhatsApp, notes, etc.

You are allowed to preview the data in the backup files and select whatever content you want to transfer. Run the program and select "Recover Data from iCloud" to continue. Step 2 : Sign in to your iCloud account. Enter the verification code you received if you have enabled the two-factor authentication.

Step 3 : Once you've logged into iCloud, the program will display all backup files in your account. Choose the one where you want to transfer data and click on "Download". Step 4 : In the pop-up window, choose "Photos" and any other type of files you would like to transfer, then click on "Recover to PC" to start downloading.

When you add new photos and videos to the iCloud Photo Library, they will be automatically downloaded onto your PC Windows 7 and later. However, that's not always the case. See Keep photos and videos downloaded in iCloud for Windows.

After you set up iCloud Photos, new photos and videos you add to iCloud Photos on other devices are automatically downloaded to your PC. Double-click the Downloads folder or the location you chose during setup.

To see photos and videos that were added before you set up the feature, click the Notification area in the taskbar, click Download Photos in the iCloud Photos notification, then choose the photos and videos you want to download.
